On December 10, MIRA hosted a webinar to facilitate knowledge sharing on deep-sea mining across the Asia-Pacific region. The webinar explored the political dynamics of deep-sea mining, its likely environmental and social impacts, and problems relating to transparency, accountability and regulation.
