Parliamentarians for Global Action

Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) is the largest non-governmental, multi-party international network of legislators acting in their individual capacity for a rules-based international order in which the force of the law shall replace the law of force. PGA is a sustainable and independent parliamentary network with an over 40-year track-record of results. PGA members – who created the organization and exercise decision-making authority on the selection of its goals and priorities – are the most active change-makers in their parliaments protecting democracy, human security, inclusion, gender equality and justice, including climate justice.

PGA’s Oceans Campaign aims to end impunity for crimes committed on and against the world’s oceans and their related human rights violations through ratification and implementation of international treaties and effective national legal structures on Ending Illegal, Unregulated and Unreported Fishing, Sustainable Small-scale Fishing Industry, Marine Protected Areas and Deep Seabed Mining.
