Bronwen has worked in the conservation sector for more than two decades, her work focused on marine protection, IUU fishing, and ocean governance. In addition to her role with DSCC, Bronwen advises a number of ocean-focused NGOs and sporting platforms advocating for ocean health. She holds a BA in English and History and a Masters in International Politics. Bronwen joined the DSCC as Global Lead for the Seamounts campaign midway through 2022. She will be returning to her home country New Zealand in January 2023 after four years in Madrid, Spain.
